During the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Center for Environmental Education and Communications of Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China and the C Team jointly released “2025 Beautiful China Case Studies of Distinguished Green Users for Space”. The case “Building a carbon-neutral energy station” submitted by Sinopec Sales CO., Ltd. Hainan Oil Branch was inscribed on the list!

This energy station has established a carbon-neutral demonstration site through a one-stop comprehensive energy supply solution of “photovoltaic + refueling + gas +EV charging”, promoting diversified supply of green energy with a 261.45-kilowatt photovoltaic power station. In recent years, Sinopec Sales CO., Ltd. Hainan Oil Branch has been actively promoting the implementation of solar power projects. Currently, it has completed the installation of photovoltaic panels at 214 energy stations, with a total installed capacity of 7.9 megawatts and a total power generation of nearly 20 million kilowatt-hours.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of establishment, Sinopec Heavy Lifting & Transporting Engineering Co., Ltd. (SLT) held a global customer promotion conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Diplomatic officials from the Chinese Embassy in the UAE, representatives of Sinopec's Middle East and Africa offices, along with nearly 200 clients from the global chemical and new energy sectors, were in attendance at the event to explore new opportunities of cooperation.

Recently, SINOPEC Nanjing Engineering Middle East Co., Ltd. (SNEMEC) delivered the first batch of prefabricated pipelines to Hyundai’s project in Saudi Arabia, which marks key progress in the company’s first overseas order. The project team independently developed a lean pipeline prefabrication management system ??? that can automatically generate production plans based on order requirements. From the entry of raw materials to the exit of finished products from the factory, each pipe and component is assigned a unique code for tracing. The “Silk Road Book House - China Bookshelf” sponsored by Sinopec was opened at Cairo University in Egypt on November 12th. Sinopec donated 1,000 books to the reading room, covering a wide range of subjects including traditional Chinese culture, economic management, and Chinese language teaching.

At the event, participants had an exchange on Chinese history and culture, shared their reading experience and immersed themselves in performance of Guqin and martial arts.
